2. Confirm the polarity (+ and -) of a
battery is correct as indicated inside the
compartment and insert a battery
accordingly.
3. Replace the battery cover.

MEMORY FUNCTIONS

Recall memories
1. To recall a memory, you must begin
with the device being powered off.
2. From the off position, press and hold
the ON/OFF Button (about 3 seconds)
until the last record show.
3. You may continue to press and release
the ON/OFF Button to recall up to 9
previous records.
4. Discontinue pressing the ON/OFF
Button to stop recalling memories.
5. The device will beep
twice indicating it is ready
to begin a new
measurement.
Delete memories
1. Repeat Recalling Memories step 1 and
step 2.
2. Press and hold the ON/OFF Button for
about 3 seconds until "dEL" is displayed.
3. Press and release the ON/OFF Button
again to delete all stored records in the
device´s memory.
4. The device will power off automatically.

SCHNELLSTART

1. Installieren Sie die Batterie (falls nicht
schon erfolgt). Achten Sie beim Einlegen
der Batterie auf die richtige Polarität. Sie
ist im Batteriefach dargestellt.
2. Drücken Sie die ON/OFF-Taste und
lassen Sie sie wieder los. Sie hören einen
kurzen Piep-Ton. Das Gerät ist jetzt für
eine Messung bereit.
3. Richten Sie die Messsonde
vorgegebenem Abstand auf die Stirn.
4. Drücken Sie die ON/OFF-Taste und
lesen Sie die Temperatur von der LCD-
Anzeige ab.
