SITRANS TK.
When replacing the cable gland or blanking plug, only components that correspond to those
certified in the EC-Type-Examination Certificate for the specified type protection ("explosion
proof" or "intrinsic safety") may be used.

Parameterization of the digital display may only be carried out by qualified personnel. In
addition, care must be taken to avoid a build--up of electrostatic charge during, for example,
operation, maintenance and cleaning.
5.1

Description

The configurable digital display DVM--LCD is a display without a power supply. It is used to display an input
signal of 4 to 20 mA. The module is intended to be mounted in SITRANS field housings. Depending on the
orientation of the field housing, it is possible to rotate the digital display during mounting inside the housing
by 90 degrees. This is made possible by the symmetrical arrangement of the securing holes on the mod-
ule. The digital display is screwed into the electronics cavity of the field housing with two M4 screws and
two spacer bolts. The digital display is connected to a corresponding plug--in connector in the field housing
with a preassembled two--wire cable. The digital display can be configured by means of three keys.

Upgrading with the Digital Display

The digital display 7MF4997--1BS is supplied with assembly material, screws and spacer bolts and an
operating manual.
