Operating location conditions

The load pins must be protected from mechanical and electrical
damage.

Maintenance

The load pins in the F5308/F53C8/F53S8 model series are mainte-
nance-free. During welding work the load pin must be bypassed with a
copper wire (min. 50 mm
the load pin and weld the force introduction points.

Accident prevention

Although the specified nominal force in the destruction range is a
multiple of the measuring range limit, the relevant accident preven-

tion regulations of the employer's liability insurance association
must be taken into consideration.

The load pins are designed to measure static and dynamic compression
forces. They often replace non-measuring axles or bolts. The advantage
of measuring axles is that they take over the function of the non-measur-
ing bolts without the need for redesigning. However, it is extremely im-
portant for the axial play and the radial play to be within tight limits. The
load pins are suitable for harsh environmental conditions and tough op-
erational demands. They are maintenance-free and can also be installed
in locations that are difficult to access. The electrical measuring signals
can be transmitted to remote measuring stands and stations, where they
can undergo further processing. The wide range of output signals allows
tecsis load pins to be adapted to many difference usage conditions. As
precision measuring devices, the load pins must be handled with care
during transportation and assembly. Shocks (e.g. colliding with a hard
surface) can also cause unexpected overloading during measuring oper-
ation, causing permanent damage.
The limits for the permitted mechanical, thermal and electrical loads
are listed in the "technical data". These must be complied with.
