9.2 Access to AED/FIT stations

The cyclic data include the data of the CANopen PDOs; with acyclic data, you
parameterize the AED/FIT stations via SDOs.
The Modbus/TCP functions "Read Holding Register (0x03)", "Write Multiple
Register (0x10)" and "Encapsulated Interface Transport (0x2B)" are used to
access the data. As a Modbus register always comprises16 bits, 8‐bit values
are also accessed with 16 bits, but the MSB is ignored. Accesses to 32‐bit
values require access to two Modbus registers, with the MSB being
transmitted first (Big Endian). Data consistency is assured in all cases.

9.2.1 Cyclic data

The base address of a station calculates as
(station CAN Bus address) * 10 = Modbus address in bytes
So the first station occupies Modbus addresses 10 to 19. Add the byte details
from the following table to this base address, to obtain the required data
address.
