There may be various reasons for the abnormal operation of receiver. Check the receiver
according to the procedures shown below.
If you can't solve the problem even after referring this trouble shooting, please contact your
dealer. Don't open the receiver cover. It may cause a dangerous situation.
PROBLEM
The front panel doesn't f Check the power cable is plugged in to the wall outlet
display any message
No picture
No sound
Poor picture quality
RCU doesn't operate
No or bad signal
No signal in the Manual f Check the "Signal Level & Quality" in the Information / Signal

Trouble Shooting

f Check whether STB is in standby mode
f Ensure the STB is switch ON
f Connect the Audio/Video output & SCART cable of the STB to TV
correctly
f Check that if you have selected the correct channel or Video
output on your TV
f Check the brightness of your TV
f Connect the antenna cable
f Turn ON the TV
f Check the volume level of the TV & STB
f Check the MUTE status of the TV & STB
f Check the signal level / quality, if this is low then try adjusting
the alignment of your dish
f Check if the LNB power is present
f Point RCU directly towards the STB
f Check and replace batteries
f Check the antenna cable, replace the cable, or connect the
cable to the receiver tightly
f Set the value of tuner parameters correctly in the Installation Menu
f Check the LNB – replace LNB if necessary
f Check the position of the dish – realign dish if necessary
f If you have DiSEqC switch, check that you have connected the
LNBs to the correct connection on the switch
f Check any other devices connected between LNB and the STB
f Check the "Signal Level & Quality" in the Information / Signal
Status Menu
f Check if the LNB power is present
f Status Menu
f Check the LNB – replace LNB if necessary f Check the cable
from the LNB
f Check the position of the dish – realign dish if necessary
f Check the LNB Frequency is matched with the LNB you are using
f If you have DiSEqC switch, check that you have connected the
LNBs to the correct connection on the switch
f Check the dish is aimed at the correct satellite if DiSEqC 1.2 is used
f Check the Polarization is correct V/H
f Contact your dealer, and then reset your receiver
