1.1. About This Milnor
Discharge Conveyor
This manual applies to the Milnor products whose model numbers are listed inside the front cover
and which are in the families of machines defined below.

Functional Description

1.1.1.
Laundering system machines perform some process within a commercial or industrial
laundering system. Laundering system machines manufactured by Milnor
washers, centrifugal extractors, press extractors, pass-through dryers, lint collectors, and various
types of conveyors including stationary, shuttle, load, discharge, and storage conveyors.
Centrifugal Extractor models remove excess water from wet linen by centrifugal force.
Extractor Discharge Conveyor models move batches of linen from a centrifugal extractor to a
shuttle, other conveyor, or carts.

Machine Identification

Find the model number and other data for your machine on the machine data plate affixed to the
machine. See the figure that follows.
