1 Applications and Setup
This audio mixer with three input channels is
suitable for universal applications, for example

two outputs.
The mixer is designed for installation into a
rack (482 mm / 19"), but it can also be used as a
stand-alone tabletop unit. For rack installation,
one RS (rack space = 44.45 mm) is required.

3 Connection
Before connecting /disconnecting, switch off
all devices concerned.
1) To connect a microphone, use the jack
MIC  (2): Connect the microphone via a
6.3 mm plug or XLR plug.
2) Two inputs are provided to connect stereo
audio sources with line signal level (e. g.
MP3 player, CD player, FM / DAB tuner, tape
deck, PC, mixer):
– the 3.5 mm jack AUX (3);
when this jack is used, the integrated
audio player will be muted.
– the RCA jacks INPUT CD / LINE (14);
L (white) = left, R (red) = right
3) To route the mixed signal to subsequent
devices (e. g. to an amplifier), two outputs
(15) are provided which can be used at the
same time:
– the RCA jacks OUTPUT UNBAL.
– the XLR connectors OUTPUT BAL.
The XLR outputs should be preferred; the
balanced signal transmission of XLR con-
nections is less susceptible to interference.
4) For power supply, connect the mains cable
provided to the mains jack (16) first and
then to a mains socket (230 V / 50 Hz).

4 Operation

1) Before switching on the mixer for the first

to be heard, adjust the volume by means of
the corresponding control:

nected to the input MIC (2)
– control AUX / MP3 (10) for the device
connected to the input AUX (3) or, when
the input AUX is not used, for the inte-
grated audio player (the basic volume for
the audio player is adjusted separately:
 fig. 4)
– control LINE (11) for the device connected
to the input LINE CD / LINE (14)
When an input / an audio source is not used,
set its control to "MIN".

4.1 Audio player
When DMP-130MIXBT is switched on with
the POWER switch (1), the audio player will
be automatically activated and set to replay
a storage medium connected. When no stor-
age medium is connected,
appear on the display (5). When a storage
medium has already been connected, it will
be read and reproduced. When both a USB
storage medium and a memory card have been
connected, the USB storage medium will be
reproduced.
4.1.1 Remote control
The infrared remote control provided uses a
battery. If a battery has been inserted in the
factory, remove the protective film (to protect
the battery from being discharged) from the
battery support. The remote control is now
ready for use. When you press a button on
the remote control, always point the remote
control at the infrared sensor (4). Make sure
that there are no obstacles between the remote
control and the sensor.
If the remote control is not used for a
longer period of time, remove the battery as a
precaution so that the remote control will not
be damaged in case the battery should leak.
Inserting / Replacing the battery:
1) Push the latch of the battery support to the
right (first arrow in fig. 3) and then pull out
the support (second arrow).
2) To replace the battery, remove the dis-
charged battery.
3) Insert the new battery (3 V button cell, type
CR 2025) in the support, positive pole facing
upwards. Push the support back into the
remote control.
4.1.2 Reproduction of storage media
The player can be used to reproduce MP3
files from memory cards
USB storage media (USB hard disk with sepa-
rate power supply or USB flash drive). It also
supports reproduction of WMA files, WAV files
and FLAC files.
– Connect a USB storage medium to the
USB 2.0 port (6).
– Insert a memory card (64 GB max.), notched
corner facing to the right and towards the
device, into the card slot (7).
Note: Due to the large number of storage device
manufacturers and device drivers, it cannot be guar-
anteed that all storage media are compatible with
the audio player.
Once a storage medium has been connected,
it will be selected and reproduced. When two
storage media have been connected, use the
button MODE to switch over between the
media or remove the medium currently se-
