Pulse frequency
The frequency specifies the number of indi-
vidual pulses per second; they are speci-
fied in Hz (Hertz).
Pulse width
The pulse width specifies the duration of an
individual pulse in microseconds. The pulse
width determines, among other things, the
penetration of the current.
Pulse intensity:
The intensity level is adjusted according to
the personal sensation of the individual
user. The sensation can vary depending on
the treatment location, skin circulation, skin
thickness and the quality of the electrode
contact. The intensity setting should be ef-
fective, but must never cause pain or other
unpleasant sensations at the treatment lo-
cation.
While a light prickling indicates sufficient
stimulation energy, every setting that cau-
ses pain must be avoided. When used over
long periods, readjustment may be neces-
sary due to adaptation processes over time
at the respective treatment location.

Changing the batteries
When the battery symbol [17] appears
in the display, please change the bat-
teries.
x Switch off the device on the control pa-
nel by pressing the On/off button [10].
x To change the battery, open the battery
compartment [6] on the back of the de-
vice, as shown in the illustration.
x 2 x 1.5 V AA, Mignon type (LR06) batter-
ies are required for operation. When in-
serting new batteries, please pay atten-
tion to the indication in the battery com-
partment.
x After inserting the batteries, close the
battery compartment [6] again.
