Application/Adjustment
1. The orthosis should be applied with
the patient lying down.
2. Position the orthosis so the patella
cut-out is positioned on top of the
patella (fig. 1 & 2).

3. Position the posterior stabilizing
stay at the center of the back of
the leg. If necessary, bend the stay
into shape.
4. Adjust the three panels to the
patient's leg circumference so they
evenly enclose the patient's leg.
5. Close the hook-and-loop straps
(fig. 3), starting at the bottom
and working your way up. Orthoses
with sizes S, M, L have 4 hook-and-
loop closures, orthoses with size XL
have 6 hook-and-loop closures.

6. Finally, check fit and function of the
orthosis, and eliminate any possible
pressure spots.
Comfort/Hygiene
Do not wear the orthosis directly on the
skin, but instead over thin clothing (e.g.
a pair of leggins).
