3. STARTING THE DEVICE

Remove the plastic label on the back of the thermometer.
NOTE: The device has two seats on the battery in the slot, but is required one battery LR1130. Make sure the battery
is inserted with correct polarity.

4. PROGRAMMING FUNCTIONS

4.1. Setting the time and date
• In normal display mode, press and hold for 2-3 seconds the TIME button. The time format (12 or 24) digits will
start flashing on the display.
• Press UP button to select the display format of an hour, confirm selection by TIME button. The display
will start flashing. Press the UP button to reset the data.
• After the reset, press the TIME to continue settings. The hour digits will start flashing on the display.
• Press UP to set the hour.
• Press TIME – the minute digits will start flashing on the display.
• Press UP to set the minute.
• Press and TIME. The figure standing for the year starts flashing on the display.
• Press UP to set the year.
• Press TIME – the digit standing for the month will start flashing on the display.
• Press UP to set the month.
• Press TIME – the digit standing for the day will start flashing on the display.
• Press UP to set the day. The thermometer will automatically switch to normal mode.
4.2. Setting the alarm
When the display is in normal operating mode, press and hold for 2-3 seconds the ALARM button to enter the alarm
mode.
• Press UP button to select the hour. Confirm the selection by pressing the ALARM button. The display will flash
the minute digits.
• Press UP button to set the minutes. Confirm the selection by pressing ALARM.
• Press the TIME button to return to normal display mode.
4.3. Switching the alarm on/off
• Press ALARM, next press UP button to activate/disactivate the alarm, the bell symbol will appear / disappear.
• Press TIME to return to normal display mode
4.4. Selecting the temperature display unit (°C/°F)
To set the temperature units – degree Celsius or Fahrenheit (°C/°F), press °C/°F during the normal display mode.
4.5. Minimum and maximum temperature
• Press MAX/MIN button to display the highest temperature saved (from the last weather station resetting). MAX
caption will be displayed at the temperature.
• Press MAX/MIN button again to display the lowest temperature saved (from the last weather station resetting).
MIN caption will be displayed at the temperature.
• Press MAX/MIN button one more to display the current temperature.
• To cancel the saved values, hold MAX/MIN button for 3 seconds.
4.6. Alarm function for low temperatures
• In normal display mode, press and hold for 3-4 seconds the °C/°F button to activate or deactivate the alarm. The
snowflake symbol will be displayed at the outdoor temperature.
• If the temperature falls below 4°C, the alarm sounds, and the snowflake symbol will start flashing.
• To turn off the sound, press any button. The snowflake symbol will flash all the time.
5. PRECAUTIONS:
• Do not expose the device to strong vibrations and mechanical strain.
• Avoid sudden and dramatic temperature changes (direct sunlight, low negative temperatures).
• Clean the casing and the display with a soft and slightly wetted cloth.
• Do not immerse the device in water.
• Immediately remove used batteries from the device. Use only the type of batteries specified below.
• A metal sensor placed at the end of the cable is a device, which is sensitive to any damage. It should be treated
