Assembling the stew oven

1 Unpacking the stew oven
Unpack the stew oven and remove
all of the packaging films� Keep the
packaging material out of reach of
children and, after assembly of the
stew oven, dispose of it in accordance
with regulations� During assembly, pay
attention to the illustration of the stew
oven�
2 Notes on screws and nuts
The screw heads must always face
outwards in order to prevent injuries�
During assembly do not tighten the
screws and nuts completely, in order to
avoid tension in the metal components�
Only tighten the screws and nuts once
the oven has been assembled�
3 Mounting the supporting feet
Turn the furnace (F) on its head� Screw
the supporting feet (N) tightly onto the
furnace with M5 x 10 screws and M5
nuts� Turn the furnace back over, onto
the supporting feet�
4 Mounting the furnace handle
Attach the furnace handles (E) to
the furnace (F) with M5 x 12 screws,
washers Ø 6 and M5 nuts�
5 Attaching the hinge for the furnace
door
Attach the hinge (K) to the furnace (F)
with M4 x 8 screws and M4 nuts�
6 Attaching the locking lever to the
furnace door
Attach the locking lever (H1) to the
furnace door (H2) with an M4 x 8 screw
and M4 nut�
7 Attaching the locking plate to the
furnace

Attach the locking plate (G) to the
furnace (F) with M4 x 8 screws and M4
nuts�
8 Hooking the furnace door into the
hinge
Place the furnace door (H2) into the
hinge (K) and stick the hinge pin (I)
into the hinge from above� Secure the
hinge pin by sticking the splint (J) into
the hinge below�
9 Attaching the connecting tube to
the furnace
Attach the connecting tube (O) at the
back part of the furnace (F) with M5 x 10
screws and M5 nuts�
10 Attaching the flue and flue cap
Put the flue (P) on the connecting tube
(O)� Put the flue cap (Q) on the flue�
11 Inserting the ash drawer
Attach the handle (L) to the ash drawer
(M) with a Ø 3�5 x 20 screw� Slide the
ash drawer into the track at the base of
the furnace�
12 Inserting the charcoal grate and
cooking pot
Place the charcoal grate (D) in the
base of the furnace (F)� Hang the
cooking pot (C) in the furnace such
that both ends of the pot handle sit in
the recesses at the top of the furnace�
Place the lid (A) onto the cooking pot�
Important: All screws must be tightly
fastened
