• Empty the cold ash� It is very
important that you remove the ash
before moisture combines with
the cold ash Ash is saline and, in
a moist condition, will attack the
inside of the ash collecting tray
Thus, over years the ash collecting
tray can sustain damage through
rust
• Regularly clean the stew oven, ideally
after each use�
• Remove the cooking pot (C) and lid
(A) and clean both of them thoroughly
with soapy water� Rinse the cooking pot
and lid with clean water� Dry the parts
thoroughly and place them back in the
furnace�
• Remove loose deposits on the stew
oven with a wet sponge�
• Use a soft, clean cloth for drying� Do
not scratch the surfaces when wiping
them dry�
• Clean the internal and external surfaces
generally with warm soapy water�
• Tighten all screws regularly before each
use, in order to ensure the stew oven is
standing securely each time�
• IMPORTANT: The stew oven should
always be stored somewhere where it
is protected from moisture�
