Holding a call / Brokering
While a call is in progress, it is possible to dial another handset in order to
consult with someone. The external caller is put on hold while you con-
verse with the second, internal person called. You can switch between the
callers as often as necessary.

Conference calls
An external call can be transferred to another internal handset for a confer-
ence call.

Muting the microphone in the handset
The microphone in the handset can be activated and deactivated during a
telephone conversation.

Even if you can only operate the telephone using pulse dialling, you can
switch to tone dialling temporarily during a call in order, for example, to ac-
cess an answering machine.
