16 Before Initial Commissioning

16.1 Commissioning of the backhand scanner

Before starting up the backhand scanner for the first time, please make sure that the rechargeable battery
installed in the backhand scanner in the factory is fully charged. Connect the docking station to the mains
supply with the included power supply and place the backhand scanner in the docking station.
The rechargeable battery is fully charged when the charge LED is lit green.
Now you can place the backhand scanner in operation.

The backhand scanner must not be used in areas subject to
explosion.
When working on machines (especially with rotating parts) there is
a higher risk of injury. The safety instructions of the machine must
be observed.
To prevent blood congestion, make sure that the hand strap is not
tightened too much.
Before use, the backhand scanner, docking station, power supply,
and any connection cables must be checked for damage. Damaged
parts must be replaced. Please contact ACD Elektronik GmbH to
do this.
Non-designated use of the interfaces is prohibited.
To prevent overheating, the backhand scanner, docking station,
and the power supply must not be covered while they are in
operation.
The device may only be opened by trained specialized personnel.
The device has the following radio systems:

Max. permissible transmission power in the frequency band:
