OPERATING THE APPLIANCE

Basic operation
1. Open the door using the release button (6).
2. Place the food to be cooked in the appliance and
close the door.
3. Select cooking function as described below and start
the appliance.
4. Once the cooking time set has elapsed, the oven will
switch off automatically. 3 x 2 beeps will sound and
the display shows "END". The appliance is now ready
for a new program. If you do not open the oven door
or press the "Stop.Clear" (e) button, the appliance will
continue to beep at intervals of 3 minutes.
Temporary interruption of cooking
• Cooking can be temporarily interrupted at any time by
pressing the "Stop.Clear" button once.
• Cooking can also be temporarily interrupted by
opening the door (practical if the food needs turning).
• When cooking is temporarily interrupted, one or more
function indicators will show on the display, and the
clock will show the remaining cooking time.
• To resume cooking, close the oven door, if it has been
opened, and restart the appliance by pressing the
"Instant.Start" (a) button.
• If you press the "Stop/Clear" button twice, cooking will
stop and the selected cooking time and the program
will reset.
Extending cooking time
• You can extend the cooking time at any point during
cooking by turning the "Time Weight/Auto Cooking" (g)
selector. The time will be increased at intervals of 10
seconds. This does not apply to the defrost programs.
Express cooking
Express cooking takes place at full microwave power for
the number of minutes you set.
1. Press the "Instant.Start" button repeatedly to set
cooking time. The first press will give 1 minute and
each subsequent press will increase the time by 10
seconds. You can also adjust the time by turning the
"Time Weight/Auto Cooking" selector.
2. The appliance automatically commences cooking at
full microwave power immediately. The microwave
symbol (MW) flashes and the display shows the
remaining cooking time.
3. You may increase the cooking time during cooking
by pressing the "Instant Start" button. Each time you
press the button, the time increases by 10 seconds.
You can also adjust the time by turning the "Time
Weight/Auto Cooking" selector.
Manual cooking – selecting power level
1. Press the "Micro Power" button (a) repeatedly to select
the power required. See the various levels in the table
below.
2. When the display shows the desired power, set the
cooking time using the "Time/Weight/Auto Cooking"
selector.
3. Close the oven door.
4. Press the "Instant.Start" button to commence cooking.
5. The appliance starts; the microwave symbol (MW)
flashes and the display shows the remaining cooking
time.

Grill cooking and combination programs with
grill
The appliance has a grill program and two combination
programs which use a combination of microwave power
and grill (see table below).

1. Press the "Grill.Combi" button repeatedly to select the
grill program or a combination program with grill.
2. Set the required cooking time by turning the "Time
Weight/Auto Cooking" selector.
3. Close the oven door.
4. Press the "Instant.Start" button to commence cooking.
5. The oven will start and the display will show the
grill symbol (G) and remaining cooking time. The
microwave symbol (MW) will also appear if a
combination program is selected.
NB! Grilling is always carried out at full power.
Defrost function
You can defrost food in the appliance using one of the
three defrost programs (see program list in the table
below).
1. Place the frozen foods in the appliance.
2. Press the "Auto Defrost" button repeatedly to select
the required defrost program. The display will show
the program number and defrost symbol "DEF".
3. Select the desired weight using the "Time Weight/
Auto Cooking" selector. The appliance automatically
calculates defrosting time for the weight given.
