Electrical and magnetic fields often are the cause for the introduction of disturbing voltages into the measuring
circuit. Therefore:
-- Use screened low-capacitance cable only (HBM cables fulfil these requirements).
-- Do not lay the measuring cable in parallel to heavy-current and control conductors. If this is not possible use,
e.g. steel conduits to protect the measuring cable.
-- Avoid the stray fields resulting from transformers, motors and contactors.

3.1 Connecting several transducers in parallel

Transducers are connected in parallel electrically by interconnecting the transducer connection cables' core
ends with identical color. In this case, the output signal is the average of the input signals.
Caution: An overloading of an individual load cell cannot be detected from the output signal.

3.2 Cable extension

For cable extension, use screened, low-capacitance cable only. Ensure an optimum connection with the lowest
possible transfer resistance.
When using the six-wire technique, the effects due to changes in resistance in the extension cable may be
neglected. However, temperature effects will not be eliminated.
