4.2.3 Activation/Deactivation of the Tool Setter/Touch Probe
Measurement system activation by infrared signals.
1. Switching ON the measurement system:
1.1 Load Touch Probe into spindle / position Tool Setter.
1.2 Switch ON signal from machine control to receiver.
1.3 Receiver switches measurement system ON with infrared signal.
1.4 Measurement system transmits READY-signal to receiver.
1.5 Receiver passes electrical READY signal to machine control.
1.6 Measurement system ready to work.
2. Switch off the measurement system:
2.1 Machine control sends switch-off signal to receiver.
2.2 Receiver switches the measurement system OFF with infrared signal.
2.3 Receiver resets electrical READY signal on machine control.
2.4 Deposit Touch Probe in the magazine / remove Tool Setter.
