Mounting/Dismounting the Shank

2.2.3.1 Mounting Shanks Ø11
1. Dismounting the shank:
1.1 Loosen all 4 adjustment screws (refer to Fig. 6) using a hexagon key AF2 mm.
1.2 Unscrew the cap head screw (refer to Fig. 6) from the top of the shank using a hexagon key AF4 mm.
1.3 Remove the shank from the Touch Probe
1.4 Remove the washer of the mounting screw from the inside of the shank.
2. Mounting the shank:
2.1 Carefully slide the shank onto the probe body.
2.2 Lightly tighten the 4 adjustment screws using a hexagon key AF2 mm.
2.3 Insert the washer into the shank from the top.
2.4 Insert the cap head screw into the shank from the top and tighten it using a hexagon key AF4 mm.
3. Align the stylus to spindle center (refer to chapter 2.2.5).
4. Calibrate the probe.
