Intended Use

The SATA filter 100/101/103 prep serve the purpose of compressed air
purification. They separate solid and liquid particles as well as partially
gaseous components from the compressed air streaming through the
filter.

Safety Instructions

6.1. General Safety Instructions
• Before using the filters, please read the safety and operating instruc-
tions completely and carefully. Safety instructions and specified steps
are mandatory.
• Keep all enclosed documents and pass on the filter together with
these documents only.
6.2. Filter Specific Safety Instructions
• Local safety, accident prevention, work and environment protection
regulations are mandatory!
• Use, cleaning and maintenance by skilled personnel only!
• Never use the filter when it is damaged or when components are
missing!
• Check and, if necessary, repair the filter on a regular basis!
• Put filter out of operation immediately when it is damaged!
• Never carry out unauthorized or technical modifications on the filter!
• Use original SATA spare parts and accessories only!
6.3. Use In Explosive Areas
The filter is approved for the use in explosive areas classified as Ex-zone
1 and 2.
The SATA filter 100/101/103 prep and its design, construction and com-
mercialization comply with the basic safety requirements of Directive
2014/34/EU. The documents required according to Directive 2014/34/EU,
Annex VIII are stored for 10 years with Notified Body number 0123 under
the document number 70023722.
