- Keep the heat pump, the mains plug and the mains cable away from naked
flames and hot surfaces.
- Route the mains cable so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
- Do not kink the mains cable and do not route it over sharp edges.
- Ensure that children do not insert any objects into the heat pump.
- Keep the openings free of foreign objects.
- Always switch off the heat pump and pull the mains plug out of the power
socket when you are not using the heat pump, are cleaning it or if a
malfunction occurs.
- Ensure that the actual operating voltage does not deviate from the rated
voltage by any more than 10% (see the "Technical data").
- A circuit breaker with a 16 A slow-blow breaker must be connected
upstream of the heat pump as a protective device; this protective device
must only supply the heat pump. Even when using a protective device with
all-pole interruption, a differential switch with a differential current not
exceeding 30 mA must be used.
- Ensure that the electrical system to which the heat pump is connected has
an earth conductor.
- If a mains plug is installed for connection to the mains, it must have a
degree of protection of at least IPX4 and a terminal for connecting the earth
conductor. The same applies for the conductor of the electrical supply,
which must also have an earth conductor.

Improper handling of the device can lead to severe injuries or damage to the
device.
- This heat pump can be used by children aged 8 years and older and by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or who lack
experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or have been
instructed in how to use the heat pump safely and understand the resulting
risks. Children are not permitted to play with the heat pump. Cleaning and
user maintenance must not be carried out by children.
- Do not leave the device unattended when in use.
- Do not allow others to handle the device until you have read and
understood this operating manual or until you have been instructed about
its intended use and the associated risks.
