‧ Protect the mains socket and mains plug against moisture and
wetness. A drip loop must be formed with the mains cable.
This prevents any water running along the cable to the mains sock-
et, which would result in a short-circuit.
‧ Only connect the appliance to a correctly installed protective contact mains
socket.
4. Commissioning
Connecting the hose (compactOUT600)
1. Plug the connecting piece a onto the pump (⌦A).
2. Connect your hose to the connecting piece.
Connecting the hose (compactOUT1000)
1. Use a saw to shorten the connecting piece to the diameter of your hose (⌦B).
2. Screw the connecting piece onto the pump.
3. Connect your hose to the connecting piece.
Hint: Moisten the hose with water for easier installation.
Installing suction devices
1. Screw the suction devices into the openings of the body of the motor (⌦C).
Hint: Moisten the suction devices with water for easier installation.
Installing the suction basket
1. Fold the pump cover up and away from the body of the motor (⌦D).
2. Turn the power controller a to position min (⌦E).
3. Using a screwdriver, carefully push the power controller out of the pump cover from behind (⌦F).
CAUTION! Material damage.
▶ Make sure that the connecting piece is installed horizontally d (⌦G).
4. Push the connecting piece into the pump cover until it locks into place.
5. Plug the filter c onto the connecting piece.
6. Install the filter basket again in reverse order.
