REMEDY OF FAULTS

Malfunction
Pump does not start.
Pump switches off after a
short running period.
The pump is running but is
not delivering, or the deliv-
ered quantity is insufficient
16 ProMax Pressure Automatic 5500/5, 6000/8, Well Automatic 3000/15, 6000/8
Cause
Power supply interrupted
Overload protection has
switched the pump off due
to overheating.
The well has run dry.
Pressure hose blocked
Intake blocked
Air in the pressure hose
If applicable:
Non-return valve incorrectly
fitted in the pressure hose
or clogged
The non-return valve is
blocked with sand.
Impeller defective or worn
The impeller is clogged
with sand.
Remedy
Check the fuse and electri-
cal plug connections.
• Clean the intake
• Allow the pump to cool
down.
Wait until there is sufficient
water in the well.
• Route the pressure hose
without kinks.
• Check the outlet and
clean if necessary
• Clean the intake
• Expel the air from the
pressure hose.
• Correctly fit the non-re-
turn valve.
• Clean the non-return
valve.
• Clean the non-return
valve. (→ Cleaning the
non-return valve)
• If the pump still does not
start up, contact OASE.
Contact OASE.
• The impeller may only
be replaced by the
OASE Service.
• Clean the non-return
valve. (→ Cleaning the
non-return valve)
• Position the pump hori-
zontally and flush it with
sand-free water until all
the sand has been com-
pletely flushed out. If the
pump still does not start
up, contact OASE.
