Follow these steps to center-mount the switch in a 23-inch rack. For information
about installing the switch in a 19- or 24-inch rack, refer to the
Catalyst 2900 Series XL Installation Guide.
Step 1
Place the switch on a level surface, and use the supplied Phillips truss-head screws
to attach the short side of the bracket to each side of the switch. Secure all four
screws tightly, but do not overtighten them.
Step 2
Use two of the supplied Phillips machine screws to securely attach each bracket
to the rack.
