Using the Catalyst 2924M XL DC
Ethernet Switch

This document describes the Catalyst 2924M XL DC Ethernet switch (hereafter
referred to as the switch) and provides the instructions for rack-mounting it and
connecting it to a DC-input power source.
Note
This document uses the term switch to refer to the
Catalyst 2924M XL DC switch. In this document, the term switch
does not refer to a telco device.

The DC-power converter has dual feeds (A and B) that are diode OR’d into a single power block.
