Disassembly and Exchange
3. Screw the second set of tie rod nuts (4) onto the other end of
the tie rods. Tightening torque: 2.0–2.5 Nm. Wrench opening:
8 mm. Make sure the tie rod nuts are correctly oriented to fit
into the end plate (6), see detailed drawing in Fig. 14.
4. Place the seal (5) in the slot of the subbase.
5. Replace the end plate (6), making sure the seal (5) is
properly seated. Then fasten the hex head screws (7) onto
the tie rod nuts (4). Tightening torque: 2.8–3.2 Nm. Wrench
opening: 8 mm.
6. Place the seal (8) in the slot of the connection piece (9).
7. Mount the connection piece (9) on the subbase (1), making
sure the seal is properly seated. Then fasten the hex head
screws (7) onto the tie rod nuts (4). Tightening torque:
2.8–3.2 Nm. Wrench opening: 8 mm.
8. To mount the multipole plug, first make sure the seal is
inserted in the slot, then place the plug so that connection is
secured. Fix the cover by fastening the four hex head
screws. Tightening torque: 1.0–1.2 Nm. Wrench opening:
7 mm.
