BRACE APPLICATION (FOR SMARTDOSING
1. Place the brace on patient's leg. Align the center of hinge at mid
patella and midline of A/P
2. Wrap the upper calf strap around the back of your leg above the calf
muscle, thread it through the D-ring and secure (Figure 3).
3. Hold the thigh shell and bring the strap around leg. Thread the thigh
strap through the slotted thigh strap attachment and secure
(Figure 4).
4. Place button of Quick Fit Buckle into appropriate keyhole (Figure 5)
and close carefully using the palm of the hand to snap the buckle
closed.
5. Turn SmartDosing
System strap to prescribed position (Figure 6).
Practitioner will need to determine optimum unloading based on
patient´s pain relief feedback. The strap tension should be set to
provide optimal pain relief once the dosing dial is set to the setting of

1. Place the brace on patient's leg. Align the center of hinge at mid
patella and midline of A/P.
2. Wrap the upper calf strap around the back of your leg above the calf
muscle, thread it through the D-ring and secure (Figure 3).
3. Hold the thigh shell and bring the strap around leg. Thread the thigh
strap through the slotted thigh strap attachment and secure
(Figure 4).
4. Thread the lower calf strap through the D-ring and secure (Figure 7).
5. Bend your braced knee to an approximate angle of 80 degrees. While
holding the thigh shell, to prevent the brace from moving, thread the
DFS strap through D-ring in front of thigh shell and tighten (Figure 8).
The DFS should be worn snug for maximum pain relief.
INTERNAL UNI-CENTRIC ADJ
The braces are shipped with a Range of Motion (ROM) Stop in Place. For
this setting the ROM Stop is positioned with the long end down (relative
to the hole in the stop). If the Range of Motion needs to be adjusted, first
remove the Upper Hinge Cover screw using the supplied Allen Key.
Remove the Upper Hinge Cover to access the ROM mechanism. Set the
ROM Stop and ROM Screw to the desired position as indicated below.
0 degrees
Remove ROM Stop. Orient ROM Stop with long end down. Insert ROM
Stop Screw in distal stop hole.
5 degrees
Remove ROM Stop. Orient ROM Stop with long end up. Insert ROM
Stop Screw in distal stop hole.
10 degrees
Remove ROM Stop. Insert ROM Stop Screw in the proximal stop hole.
20 degrees
Remove ROM Stop. Orient ROM Stop with long end down. Insert ROM
Stop Screw in the proximal stop hole.
