9.1.2 Faults with fault codes
If errors with fault code appear, the plain text display shows
a message:
Error messages
Fault and troubleshooting
Out of service!
Fix the problem using the fault
codes.
The following is displayed:
ID number of the SCU (e. g. #98)
Version of SCU firmware (e.g. v0.45)
Fault codes (e. g. ErrA: 5, ErrB: 3)
There are two categories of fault codes:
Category A: Critical errors that cause the charging pro-
cess to be aborted.
Category B: Less critical errors and explanations for
category A.
The meaning of the fault codes and troubleshooting
instructions are described in the installation manual
MENNEKES ACU / SCU.
Should it be impossible to rectify the error or the failure,
contact MENNEKES or your competent service partner.

9.2 Spare parts
If replacement or accessory parts are necessary for trou-
bleshooting, these must first be checked for uniformity of
design.
f Use only spare parts and accessories that are provided
and / or approved by MENNEKES.
9.3 Unlocking the charging plug
If the unlocking function fails, the charging plug may be
mechanically locked in place in the socket panel by an
actuator. The charging plug cannot be removed and must
be unlocked manually.

f Plug the red lever (1) in the square-head bolt of the
actuator (2).
f Rotate the red lever 90° clockwise.
f Pull off the charging plug.

carried out by a qualified electrician.

f Disconnect the RS-485 bus cable.
f Remove the device.
