7. Dry the inside, passing a dry cloth gently
over the entire surface of the appliance.
8. Reposition the steam duct in its seat on the
inside of the tank turning it anti-clockwise
and re-insert its cover.
9. Reposition the lid.
10. If the appliance is not to be used for a long
period, after cleaning, dry all parts of the
unit immediately, then store it in a dry
and protected place.
External cleaning of the appliance
Clean the outer parts of the appliance using
a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners,
alcohol, solvents or similar products which
could cause irreparable damage to the
surfaces of the appliance.
Warning!
1. Do not immerse the appliance in water or
other liquid. Do not place the appliance
under water or use near jets of water; if
electrical parts come into contact with
water, do not use the appliance and
contact your retailer or a service centre
authorised by the distributor Artsana S.p.A.
2. Keep water away from the power cord (K).
3. Do not scrape the heating unit (I) and do
not use chemicals or abrasives to clean it.
4. Any repairs must only be performed by a
service centre authorised by the distributor
Artsana S.p.A.

PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

Problem
a) The humidifier does not work
b) The appliance is very noisy
c) Strange smell
Solution
a)
1) Check that the power cord (K) is connected
to the socket.
2) Check that the switch (A) is in the on
position (I).
3) Check that there is enough water in the
tank (C).
4) To reactivate the production of steam
after a cycle of use, always first switch
off, then wait for the heating element to
cool down sufficiently, then switch the
appliance back on via the switch (A).
5) Send the appliance for service to the
Artsana service centre contacting the
Artsana consumer service.
b)
1) Perform the usual cleaning operations
as indicated in the CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE paragraph, then air the
water tank (C) in a cool place for 24 hours
with the lid (8) open.
c)
1) Perform the usual cleaning operations
as indicated in the CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE paragraph, then air the
water tank (C) in a cool place for 24 hours
with the lid (E) open.
