Never leave the power cable plug inserted in
the socket when the unit is not being used or
when it is unattended.
Before performing
maintenance, always unplug the power cable
(K) from the socket.
Do not use accessories, spare parts or
components not provided/supplied by the
manufacturer.
Any repairs should only be performed by
competent technical personnel or by repairers
authorised by the distributor Artsana S.p.A.
The use of any electrical appliance requires
compliance with certain basic rules:
- Never touch the unit with wet or humid
hands.
- Do not pull the power cord (K) or the appliance
itself to remove the plug from the socket.
- Never leave the appliance exposed to
weathering (rain, sun, etc.).
- Keep the appliance and the power cable away
from sources of heat.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or
other liquid or place it under running water.
- Do not touch the appliance if it is accidentally
dropped into water; immediately turn off the
main electricity supply to your home at the
general home electrical panel and remove
the plug from the socket before touching
the appliance. Do not reuse the appliance
but contact the retailer or a service centre
authorised by the distributor Artsana S.p.A. .
- This appliance does not contain user-
serviceable or reusable parts and can only
be opened with special tools.
In the event of a failure and/or poor operation
of the unit, switch it off immediately and
remove the plug from the socket. Do not
attempt to tamper with the unit and only
contact the retailer or a service centre
authorised by the distributor Artsana S.p.A.
The appliance must be thoroughly cleaned
and dried after each operating cycle.
If the unit is not used for an extended
period of time, it must be stored as detailed
in the paragraph regarding Cleaning and
maintenance.
Should the unit no longer be used, after
removing the plug from the socket, it is
advisable to make it inoperative by cutting
any cleaning or
the power cable.
Do not dispose as household waste
but recycle, as it is electrical/electronic
equipment (WEEE),
applicable laws and EU directives.
To avoid the risk of fire, do not pass the
power cable (K) under rugs or near radiators,
stoves and heaters.
Do not keep the humidifier in environments
with extreme temperatures.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS

1. Position the appliance in its selected
position, observing
outlined in the Warnings paragraph.
2. Position the product so that the steam is
not directed towards persons, furniture,
curtains, walls, electrical appliances or
objects affected by heat, water and/or
moisture.
3. Remove the lid (E) using the appropriate
holding points (F) (Fig.2), then check
that the steam duct and its cover (J) are
correctly inserted and secured in the
tank. Fill the tank (C) with cold drinking
or distilled water being careful not to
exceed the Max level (D) indicated (Fig.
3). Once the operation is completed, close
the lid (E). Ensure that the lid is positioned
correctly.
4. If desired, insert a few drops of oil or
aromatic liquid into the essence container
(H) (Fig. 4). Always make sure the oil or
aromatic liquid does not come in contact
with the outer surfaces of the water tank
or spills over, penetrating the inside of the
appliance through the steam outlet hole
(G).
5. Connect the power cable plug (K) to a
socket that is only easily accessible by an
adult.
