If you wish the monitor to be portable, insert the optional AKKU-
DVT67M lithium battery into the battery compartment [3], paying
attention to the correct polarity.
!
If the battery is inserted, the battery charge display
right of the start screen [2] indicates the charge status of the
monitor. During mains operation, the battery charge display
shows loading (even if no battery is inserted).

To switch the monitor off, press and hold the on/off button
[13] on the monitor with the screen on for approx. 5 seconds,
until the display on the screen disappears.
Note:
When the monitor is switched off:

it does not respond to a ring on the door intercom and
#
no camera image is saved
#
but if an optional signal generator is connected, it will still
respond to a ring
#
approx. 6 seconds after a ring, a double tone on the outdoor
station can be heard as a signal that there is no mobile unit to
respond when no additional monitor is connected or the
additional monitor is also switched off.
11. Basic functions

Pressing the doorbell button [25] results in
