General safety instructions
This Technical Document applies to the WPS 2000 power tool.
Read all safety information and instructions.
• The power tool must be used only in the condition on delivery, complete with all safety equipment.
• The power tool must be operated by qualified personnel only (in accordance with DIN VDE 0105 or IEC
364 and EN 60204-1).
• Do not point the power tool at people.
• The safety operating lever may not be removed or manipulated.
• Keep the working area clean and brightly lit.
• Do not use the tool in a potentially explosive or flammable environment.
• Keep away other persons when the power tool is in use.
• Always wear protective goggles! Flying sparks, chips, and tool attachments can injure your eyes.
• Always wear hearing protection!
• You are recommended to wear gloves.
• Secure loose clothing and long hair!
• If necessary, use dust extraction or a respirator: dust and vapours that are generated during work can
be harmful to health.
Before using the power tool
• Never start the power tool without an attachment in the tool holder!
• Check the compressed air: the pressure may not exceed 6 bar. Use oiled compressed air (see air
quality under the tool specifications).
Attachments
• Insert the attachment to the stop in the tool holder (6) and tighten the securing screw (5) with 2.5 to
3 Nm.
Use only the attachments recommended by the manufacturer.
The instructions issued by the manufacturer of the attachment must be observed!
Use only attachments and fixtures whose maximum loading capacity is equal to or greater than the power
tool's.
After securing the attachment check that all external moving parts do not collide with any stationary parts.
Check the torques on the securing screws at regular intervals and if necessary tighten these.
The attachment may not weigh more than 20 g.
The attachment's shaft may be no less than 0.1 mm smaller than the nominal size.
Do not use any vibrating attachments!
Replacing the tool holder
To remove the finger guard loosen items 7 and 8 (Fig 1).
Insert the tool holder (6) to the stop on the piston rod.
Tighten the securing screw (5) with 2.5 Nm.

Segagione
• Per la segagione è necessario montare e serrare il controsupporto 1 per motivi di sicurezza.
• Per montare o smontare il controsupporto 1, staccare la pos. 8, inserire il controsupporto stesso e
riserrare la vite.
• Con il controsupporto 1 viene regolata la profondità di taglio e vengono ridotte le vibrazioni del pezzo in
lavorazione. Per regolare la posizione del controsupporto 1, allentare semplicemente la vite 8 (1/2 giro),
regolare a mano la distanza desiderata e riserrare la vite.
• Per la segagione premere solo leggermente la macchina.
• Per i materiali metallici utilizzare sostanze lubrificanti adatte.
Limatura, sbavatura, lucidatura e lappatura
• A seconda dell'utensile e del pezzo, regolare la lunghezza e la frequenza delle corse come descritto.
• In caso di sbavatura tirare la lama contro la bavatura.
• L'impiego di sostanze lubrificanti adatte può migliorare notevolmente la prestazione.
Regolazione della frequenza delle corse
• Grazie a una valvola di riduzione della pressione preinserita nella macchina si può ridurre la frequenza
delle corse tramite la riduzione della pressione.
Manutenzione preventiva
• Controllare quotidianamente la guida 10 e, se necessario, sostituirla.
• Tutti i giorni controllare se il pistone si aziona facilmente.
• Tenere sempre pulita e asciutta la macchina.
• Per la sicurezza della macchina è indispensabile una manutenzione regolare.
• In caso di esercizio irregolare trattare le parti mobili e la guida con dell'olio senza resine. Applicare delle
gocce di olio nel flessibile e lasciarle scorrere nella macchina.
Smaltimento / rispetto dell'ambiente
• La macchina è composta di materiali che possono essere sottoposti a processo di riciclo.
Reparazione
• Se si dovessero presentare avarie nonostante la produzione e il controllo siano stati eseguiti con cura, la
riparazione va effettuata solo da centri di assistenza clienti autorizzati.
