These instructions for use provide important information regarding the installation and proper use
of the 476C00=SK60/3/4* Terra (custom size: 476C00=SA620) and 476C00=SK65/8/9* Terra
Aquos (custom size: 476C00=SA660) wheelchair seat cushions.
Please note the following:
• It may be necessary to adapt the product according to the needs of the user and the medical
conditions. Adjustments may only be made by suitably trained qualified personnel and in close
coordination with the user.
• The manufacturer reserves the right to make technical changes to the model described in
these instructions for use.

2 Product description

The wheelchair seat cushion is used as a decubitus prophylaxis. It provides good pressure redis­
tribution; the 476C00=SK65/8/9* optimally reduces shear forces.
The seating surface consists of an anatomically shaped rest suspension foam base (see fig. 3). In
the 476C00=SK65/8/9*, LiquiCell
base distributes pressure over the largest possible surface area, thereby reducing pressure
points. The seat cushion provides optimal postural stability and damping due to the anatomically
shaped recesses for positioning the thighs and the ischium bone (see fig. 3, items 4, 3).
The foam base and LiquiCell
ion and are protected by a liquid-repellent cover (see fig. 1, item 2, see fig. 2, item 2).

3 Intended use

3.1 Indications for use

The product is intended exclusively as a wheelchair seat cushion for adults who use a wheel­
chair on a temporary or permanent basis.
The most suitable seat cushion must be selected by trained, qualified personnel depending on
the size and individual sitting needs of the user. It may only be used in a wheelchair of the appro­
priate size.
The allowed user weight is 35 kg [77 lbs] to 150 kg [330 lbs]. We assume no liability if the
product is used outside the permissible user weight range.
