Analog interface Sin/Cos (1Vpp)

This interface is described in the document
titled Interfaces for BML Magnetically Coded
Position Measuring System.
The interface document is part of this guide and
must be used!
Each of the outputs +A(+Sin)/–A(–Sin) and +B(+Cos)/–B(–
Cos) must have a load of 120 Ohm ±10%.

Additional information about the safe analog
interface Sin/Cos (1Vpp) (BML SF2-_ _ _ _-G...)
BML sensors with the safe analog interface Sin/Cos
(1 Vpp) may be used in safety applications up to Safety
Integrity Level 2 (SIL 2) per EN 61800-5-2 / EN 62061 /
IEC 61508 and Performance Level d (PL d) per
EN ISO 13849-1.
The sensors provide the safety function safe incremental
value. Here safe processing and transmission of the
incremental rough position information of the measuring
system is implemented via the safe analog interface Sin/
Cos (1Vpp). For safety applications which use the function
safe incremental value only the rough position obtained
from the quadrant detection of A and B may be used.
The user must consider the entire safety chain of the safety
function (e.g. use of a safety controller) to determine the
achieved SIL and PL.
