INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION AND USE
Important Safety Information - Please Read Carefully
- Always isolate from the mains electricity before installing or carrying out any
maintenance to the REEF-Flow pump.
- Always isolate the PSU from the mains electricity before connecting or disconnecting the
cable running between the pump and the controller. Failure to do so may cause damage to
the PSU and invalidate your guarantee.
- Power to the REEF-Flow pump must be supplied through a Residual Current Device (RCD)
with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA.
- The REEF-Flow pump is designed to run completely submerged in water - do not run the
pump dry.
- The controller and PSU are not waterproof so please ensure they are positioned in a dry
area, where there is no risk of them falling into the water.
- PSU rating: 220-240V AC, 50Hz unless marked otherwise. 12-24Vdc output.
- Pump rating: 12-24V DC unless marked otherwise.
- To ensure the pump continues to maintain a steady water flow, it must be cleaned
regularly to ensure it does not become clogged with debris or detritus.
- Do not operate any appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is malfunctioning,
or if it has been dropped or damaged in any way.
- This unit is designed to be used indoors and is not suitable for any outdoor applications.
