Only fi ll the water tank with cold water!
Never open the lid of the water tank while coffee is being percolated.
This could lead to scalding.
The hot plate and the coffee pot become very hot. DANGER OF SCALDING!
Remove all the packaging and transport protections from the device. Wipe all the parts
with a moist cloth to remove all the dust that may have deposited on and in the device
during transport. Then mount the device again by proceeding in the opposite order.
Carry out 2 or 3 cycles with cold water only to clean the device before brewing the fi rst
cup of coffee.
Electrical connection
Insert the plug in a duly installed 230V/50Hz protective contact socket. The details can
be found on the appliance's nameplate.
Make sure that the appliance is switched off. (The light in the on/off switch is off.)
1. Pull the lid of the water tank forwards. Fill the machine to the level corresponding to the
number of cups required with cold water.
2. Please insert a 1x2 fi lter bag into the fi lter holder (please fold it over along the markings)
3. Place the coffee pot on the hot plate.
4. Move the switch to the „EIN/1" position. The coffee takes approximately 10 minutes to
boil. When no more coffee is running into the pot it can be removed.
5. Your machine has an anti-drip device. If the pot is removed before the water has fi n-
ished passing through the fi lter, this prevents coffee from dripping on to the plate below.
If there is still water in the tank or the fi lter, please ensure that you place the pot back
under the fi lter in order to prevent the water from over fl owing.
If you would like to keep the remaining coffee warm, the switch must remain in the „EIN/1"
position. The hot plate will keep the coffee warm until you switch the machine „AUS/0".
Switching Off
The machine is switched off when the switch is in the „AUS/0" position.
