4. Measuring

The measured temperature in the middle of the display is displayed
in the upper left corner of the screen. The setting of the radiation
coefficient (emission factor) is displayed in the lower right corner of
the screen. Move the unit until the heat source or cold bridge
matches the center of the screen. Point the device in the direction
of the object whose temperature is higher or lower than the ambient
temperature to obtain optimum measurement results.

4.1 Temperature settings

At the beginning, it is advisable to set the temperature unit of the
image display.
To set up, open the main menu by pressing the OK button. Select
the menu Settings and after that choose the Device Settings. Then
select the sub-item Units and in the following the temperature
menu. Now it is possible to choose between the temperature units.
