All models
As the sizes of the models may vary slightly, before installing the
hot tub always check the measurements.
If the tub is installed on a mezzanine, terrace, roof or
another similar structure, please seek advice from a
building engineer.
(
5) The support base must be flat and level so as
to support the weight of the hot tub evenly and not
compromise the tank compensation capacity (models
with built-in balance tanks). If this is not the case, the
front panels or methacrylate shell may be damaged.
Any such damage is not covered by the warranty.
The support base must hold the hot tub load, taking
into account the "Weight" tables above.
Prolonged sun exposure could damage the material the
hot tub shell is made of, due to its capacity to absorb
heat (dark colours in particular). When it is not in use, do
not leave the hot tub exposed to the sun exposure with-
out adequate protection (thermal cover, gazebo, etc.).
Any damage resulting from failure to observe these
warnings is not covered by the product warranty.
The site where the hot tub is installed must be de-
signed to ensure that the hot tub itself can be re-
moved or relocated, if necessary.
Position the hot tub away from glass and/or reflec-
tive surfaces in order to avoid possible damage to the
panelling.
Make sure any paving, furniture, walls, etc. present in
areas adjacent to the hot tub are suitable for use in
the conditions described above.
If the product is installed indoors, allow for the fact
that the evaporation of the water in the hot tub may
create very high levels of humidity (particularly when
the ambient temperature is high). Natural or forced
ventilation will help preserve user comfort and re-
duce damage to the building caused by humidity.
Jacuzzi Europe declines all responsibility for any dam-
age caused by excessive humidity or by overflowing
water. Consult a specialist for indoor installations.
Preparing the plumbing connections
(
3, parts B/B1 and V-W/V1-W1) the pipes needed to con-
nect the hot tub to the draining system in the building and any
accessories can be installed on the front of (parts B/V/W) or be-
low (parts B1/V1/W1) the hot tub.
In both case, openings need to be made in the support base.
It is the customer's responsibility to make provisions for a
drainage point of an adequate size, accessible for any cleaning
required (
3, part H1).
CAUTION: Before preparing the drainage system to
connect the hot tub to, consult the local authorities
for the regulations regarding disposing of chemically
treated drained water.
(
3, parts V/V1) For periodic emptying of the hot tub, con-
nect a pipe to the indicated drain valve.
A valve can also be installed near the drain (
used instead of the factory installed valve (always leave it open);
this means you do not have to remove the panel on the technical
compartment every time.
(
3, parts W/W1) Make provisions for connecting the over-
flow drain.
CAUTION: the overflow drain on the compensation
tanks must always be left open.
CAUTION: the two drain lines (parts V/V1 and W/W1)
can be connected together but NOT BEFORE the re-
spective sluice valves, otherwise the entire system
may not function.
(
3, parts X/X1) Make provisions for connecting the bal-
ance tank drain.
NOTE: the factory installed pipe is fitted with a connector with gas-
kets, which the drainage system in the building can be connected
to (parts X/X1). Alternatively, the balance tank can be connected
directly to the drain (remove the factory installed pipe) and the
connector supplied (or a valve) can be used to drain the water as
necessary.
(
3, part H2) When installing the system indoors in par-
ticular, we recommend using a collection pit (H2) under the hot
tub base (a hole will need to be made). As there is a large amount
of water in the spa, this is a useful precaution if water accidental-
ly escapes and collects inside the base.
NOTES:
- The collection pit (H2) will be connected to the main drain pit (H1).
Models with Jacuzzi® - Eco-Heat/CoolPower heat pump

3, parts D/D1) Make provisions for connecting the heat
pump to the hot tub pipes.
