Dear customer,
Thank you for purchasing the Power Peak ® B6 EQ-BID automatic battery charger from the
Multiplex range. You now have a compact battery charger, featuring battery management and
an equalizer, designed for connection to supplied power supply unit or a 12 V DC source.
An integral USB port with bootload function for subsequent software updates ensures the
charger keeps pace with technological developments. Using this USB interface, the data
can be displayed in graphic or numerical form on a PC as well as stored, compared and
printed.
The required LogView software can be downloaded free of charge as donationware (Inter-
net address: www.logview.info).
Despite being extremely easy to use, the use still needs to be aware of certain aspects in
order to effectively operate a sophisticated, automatic battery charger such as the Power
Peak ® B6 EQ-BID. These operating instructions will quickly enable you to familiarise your-
self with the charger.

Detailed safety information on how to safely use battery chargers and on the diffe-
rent types of batteries is provided at the end of these operating instructions.
In addition further useful information on the individual types of batteries has been
compiled under „BATTERY GLOSSARY".
Make sure you read this safety information and the instructions BEFORE using the
battery charger.
Using batteries and batteries chargers in an incorrect or inappropriate manner can
cause batteries to explode and catch fire.
