ESSER signaling devices (160455.10 und 160456.10) may not be used in systems as per
VdS.
Attention:
When connecting the ESSER compact signaling
device 160455.10 and the audible alarm device
160456.10, the following monitoring resistors must be
changed in the signaling device:
Replace the resistors in the ESSER signaling devices
160455.10 and 160456.10:
R1 * 4k7
R2 12k1
R3 (2x) 12k1
* only 160455.10
The respective resistors can be found in the bag with
the accessories.

Mounting in separate housing

Screw the spacer and the PCB with the tear-off contact to the mounting surface as shown.
Distance between the switch and the bottom plate approx. 2 mm or approx. 15 mm between the PCP
top and the bottom plate.
Place washer(s) underneath
