Activating/deactivating Announcement
Standby Reception
Announcement Standby Reception allows the
receiver to switch temporarily to your favorite
service (announcement type).

Reception
Activate <MENU>, then select
<Mode>, <Announce Standby>
(☞ below).
The unit will temporarily switch
to your favorite service from any
source other than AM.
Not yet activated. Tune in to
another service providing the
related signals.
To deactivate, select "Off" in
step 4, then press ENT once (☞
below).

Tracing the same programme—Alternative
Frequency Reception (DAB AF)
• While receiving a DAB service:
When driving in an area where a service
cannot be received, this unit automatically
tunes in to another ensemble or FM RDS
station, broadcasting the same programme.
• While receiving an FM RDS station:
When driving in an area where a DAB service
is broadcasting the same programme as the
FM RDS station is broadcasting, this unit
automatically tunes in to the DAB service.
When shipped from the factory, Alternative
Frequency Reception is activated.
