Activating/deactivating TA/PTY
Standby Reception
TA Standby Reception
Press to activate.
The unit will temporarily switch to
Traffic Announcement (TA), if available,
from any source other than AM.
The volume changes to the preset TA
volume level if the current level is lower
than the preset level (☞ page 43).
Not yet activated. Tune in to another
station providing the RDS signals.
Press to deactivate.
PTY Standby Reception
Activate <AV Menu>, then select
<Mode>, <PTy Standby> (☞
pages 14, 46).
The unit will temporarily switch to
your favorite PTY programme from any
source other than AM.
Not yet activated. Tune in to another
station providing the RDS signals.
To deactivate, select <Off> in step 4,
then press ENT once (☞ page 14).
• When a DAB tuner is connected, TA Standby/PTY
Standby Reception also works for the DAB tuner.
