USB interface
Connection with PC
1. Connect USB cable into USB
connector on the PC.
2. Connect USB cable into the proper
terminal of camcorder. (USB jack)
Reference
If you disconnect the USB cable from PC or camcorder during
transferring, the data transmission may stop and it could cause to
damage data.
If you connect the USB cable to PC via USB HUB or connect the USB
cable with other USB devices simultaneously, The camcorder may not
work properly.

In this case, remove other USB devices from the PC and
reconnect the camcorder.
If the PC trys to find driver files after program installation, identify the
path (folder) as following
–
D:\Driver (When CD-ROM is set to "D:")
If the USB cable is connected to camcorder, DELETE,
(MEM. _ ) buttons are not available in the DSC-
(MEM. + ),
PLAYER mode and the START/STOP button is not available in DSC-
CAMERA mode.
If you connect the IEEE1394(DV) and USB at the same time, the USB
may not operate normally function.

Hinweise
Wenn Sie das USB-Kabel während der Datenübertragung vom PC
oder vom Camcorder abtrennen, wird die Datenübertragung unter-
brochen, und die Daten können beschädigt werden.
Wenn Sie das USB-Kabel über einen USB-Hub an den PC
anschließen oder andere USB-Geräte gleichzeitig anschließen, kann
es sein, dass der Camcorder nicht richtig funktioniert.

Trennen Sie andere USB-Geräte in diesem Fall vom PC, und
schließen Sie den Camcorder erneut an.
Wenn der PC versucht, nach Installation des Programms
Treiberdateien zu finden, geben Sie den Pfad (das Verzeichnis) wie
folgt an:

D:\Driver (wenn das CD-ROM-Laufwerk den Buchstaben D hat)

Wird das USB Kabel an den Camcorder angeschlossen, können die
DELETE,
(SLIDE),
PLAYER Modus nicht bedient werden. Die START/STOP Taste kann
dann nicht im DSC-CAMERA Modus benutzt werden.
Werden IEEE1394(DV) und USB gleichzeitig angeschlossen, funktion-
iert möglicherweise das USB nicht ordnungsgemäß.
