Operation

Peeling, slicing and coring
Peeled, sliced and cored apples are great for e.g. apple pies, dried apple slices, etc.
The peeler can even be used to peel and slice potatoes.
Tip: Always use fresh apples for the best results.
1. Push the shaft lever in and pull the shaft outwards.
2. Push an apple (stem side) or potato onto the fork. Make sure that the apple/potato
is centred on the fork. If the potato is extremely large it may need to be cut in half.
Place the cut side onto the fork.
3. Check the skin's thickness by turning the handle a couple of times.
4. Adjust the peeler blade when needed by loosening the wing nut and moving the
blade closer to the fruit for thicker skins, or further from the fruit for thinner skins.
5. Make sure that the peeler blade is straight when tightening the wing nut.
6. Turn the handle so that the shaft moves inwards peeling and coring the apple
leaving a spiral peel. Remove the spiral peel from the core. Fig. 5. To make slices
of the spiral, cut through one side of the spiral according to fig. 6.

7. To remove the core from the fork, push in the shaft lever and pull the shaft
outwards. The core will be ejected off the fork by the coring ring.
Peeling only
1. Loosen the peeler blade's wing nut. Remove or fold the coring/slicing blade to the side.
Be careful as the blade is extremely sharp.
2. Place an apple (or potato) and crank the handle until the entire apple has been peeled.
Slicing and coring (without peeling)
When you wish to slice and core an apple with the skin intact.
1. Pull the peeler arm backwards and push the lock lever forwards to lock the peeler
arm in the extended position.
2. Insert an apple and turn the handle until the entire apple is sliced and cored.
