3 Transport and unloading

The gun cleaner is sent in its own packing with "fragile" and "do not topple" written on it .
The machine is light enough to be handled by 2 persons.

4 Installation

The gun cleaner must be placed on a flat and absolutely horizontal surface in a good ventilated space
ventilated far gone of electric switches, heat sources and sparks.
BE CAREFUL!
All the next installation -, adjusting - and test activities can exclusively be carried out by
qualified and responsible staff, which guarantees that the activities are carried out according
to the safety regulations in the area of mechanical engineering and pneumatics.

4.1 Check before first use

At the installation of the gun cleaner the technical supplies in the work area must be checked and
possibly adapted.
The air pressure of the gun cleaner must a have at least a minimum 6 bar. If not, a press air kettle must
be used to guarantee sufficient autonomy of the installation.
Be careful!!! The maximum air pressure must be limited to 9 bar. If the security valve of the
compressor in the work area has been established at a higher pressure, than a pressure
controller/reduce/filter-unit with a pressure gauge must be installed on the air supplier,
which is geared to a pressure of 8-9 bar.

5 Installation of the gun cleaner

At installation of the gun cleaner follow the following instructions.
Remove the box. Two persons can move the gun cleaner (up right) to the desired place by using a
trolley.The installation must be earthed by leading the mass cable (standard provided: yellow and black)
of the bolt close to the air connection to ground.
Install the smoke drawing chimney so that this is at least 80-100 cm perfectly vertically and connect it
outside the working room. Use, when the chimney is longer than 2 meters, an outlet pipe of galvanised
iron with a diameter of 15 cm to reduce the friction and install a bended pipe as far way as possible from
the gun cleaner. For example: When the outlet pipe is 5 meters long, place it then 3-4 meters vertical and
1-2 meters horizontal instead of 1 meter vertical and 4 meters horizontal.
Use Teflon tape to connect the hose on the press air exit of the spray gun.
Install the supplied empty can to the right side under the black hose. Also put the hose with filter
connection in the same jerry can. This jerry can will be used for polluted solvent. The drain hose (black)
must always hang down and may not be immersed in the solvent.
Install a full jerry can (20 L) with clean solvent to the left side and put the 4 grey hoses in the solvent. Be
careful that the contents do not splash on the work floor during placing and removing the cans. Close the
lid.
Be careful !! Read the chapter " General security- and accident prevention measurements"
carefully. Check if TIMER-button is in the < 0 > position before you open the door of the
wash machine. Turn, when this is not the case, turn the button against the direction of the
clock until the timer is on zero stand.
