1 Introduction

This manual gives installation, operation and maintenance instructions for the HR 3000 Spray gun
cleaner. The HR 3000 will be referred to as spray gun cleaner in the rest of this document. The HR 3000
spray gun cleaner is an innovative and complete pneumatic washing installation. The HR 3000 is
completely made out of stainless steel. The spray gun cleaner is equipped with a membrane pump. For
manual cleaning this installation uses a Venturi which sucks in clean solvent from a jerry can (not
included) in the bottom section of the installation. The used solvent is carried of via the basin to a second
jerry can (included).
This manual is an integrated part of the product. It must be carefully kept and be held in good condition
en be available to check it at all times.
Good functioning, economically use and life span of the gun cleaner depend on following the instructions
in this guide.
E.M.M. International BV does not accept any responsibility either for negligence or for not observing the
instructions in this manual.
Service and guarantee is supplied by HID Services in Zwolle (The Netherlands).
The gun cleaner has been built according to the supplies in 89/392/cee-norm, the 91/368/CEE, 93/44/CEE
and 93/68/CEE.
Also this gun cleaner meets the standard described in UNI AND 292-1:1992 and UNI AND 292-2:1992.
The machine security and risk judgement has followed to EN983:1997 and 1050:1996. The complete
documents concerning the standardisation have been described in technical documentation. These have
been set out and in possession of the constructer of the machine.

1.1 Guarantee

Before starting up, check if packaging is in good condition and if all spare parts are complete and
undamaged.
Claims must be submitted within 2 days of purchase and only if the buyer has complied with the
following conditions of guarantee:
E.M.M. International BV herewith declares that the product is guaranteed under the following
conditions :
a) The spray gun cleaner is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from date of purchase if the
warranty form has been returned to E.M.M. International BV immediately after purchase.
b) The guarantee includes free replacement or repair of spare parts with productions faults.
c) The equipment must be forwarded carriage free in original packing to HID Services in Zwolle and
will be returned at costs of customer. If the service is required by a technician on location, the
time spent traveling and servicing will be charged to the customer. Time deeded for repairs and
costs of parts will not be charged.
d) The supplier will not be held responsible for direct or indirect damage caused by failing to follow
the instructions specified in this manual – with regard to installation, operation and
maintenance.
The guarantee does not cover compensation of direct or indirect damage caused as a result of
temporary failure/interruption.
The guarantee is valid only when the terms of payment have been met.
Guarantee expires, except in the cases indicated in the contract, also in the following cases.
• When the machine was served or treated incorrectly by the operator.
When damage has arisen as a result of insufficient maintenance.
•
• When the gun cleaner has changed due to repairing without authorisation from HID Services or it
is caused due to installing not original components and damage by these changes.
When the owner does not follow the instructions in this guide.
•
• When corrosive solvents are used.
