Preparing drinks (e.g. espresso)

The appliance automatically switches itself off after 90 seconds. This means
that you have to switch the appliance on again by pressing any button befo-
re preparing drinks. Now carry out steps 3-5 of the initial start-up instructions again
WITHOUT inserting a capsule.
If you are preparing a drink using milk capsules (e.g. latte macchiato), please observe
the relevant instructions on the K-fee® – your system capsule packaging.
NOTE! The appliance can be used to make drinks of different sizes. Use the
drip tray for smaller cups/espresso drinks and to prepare lungo drinks (see
left image). The drip tray has to be removed before extra-large cups or glasses
can be placed under the spout in order to make a latte macchiato or similar.
Once the drink has been made, the drip tray should be put back under the
spout straight away.
