6) Place the filter on the filter head from underneath with the handle facing left.
Push upwards and fasten by turning the handle counterclockwise (fig 3).
7) Place one or two coffee cups under the filter holder.
8) Move the mode selector to the
orange indicator (Ready) is illuminated. You will hear the sound of the water
pump.
9) If you want to continue preparing coffee after finishing the current operation,
move the mode selector to the

10) Turn the holder clockwise to release it, press the holder tab across the coffee
filter edge, and knock the coffee-grounds into the waste bin. The locked tab
prevents the filter from falling out of the holder. After emptying you may fill the
filter again with the necessary amount of coffee, tamp it, and put the filter holder
back on the filter head. As soon as the orange indicator (Ready) is illuminated,
you may move the mode selector to the

11) Once you have finished preparing coffee, turn the mode selector to the
position and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
B) Steam function
Steam is used for frothing milk to prepare cappuccino or café latte and for heating
up liquids.
1) Fill the tank with water.
2) Move the mode selector to the
indicator light will be illuminated.
3) Turn the steam nozzle tube on the side of the unit to the required position.
4) Pour cold or refrigerated milk into a higher bowl approximately up to 1/3 of its
capacity and place it under the steam nozzle. Wait until the orange indicator
(Ready) is illuminated.
Note: Colder milk and a higher fat content will produce a richer froth.
5) Hold the bowl with the milk so that the nozzle is dipped just under the milk level.
Move the bowl up and down to ensure uniform and deep milk frothing.
6) Turn the steam valve controller in the "+" direction to open the valve and release
steam.
7) Steam will generate richly frothed milk. Let the steam operate for about 30 – 60
seconds.
8) Once you finish frothing, turn the steam valve controller in the "–" direction until
the valve closes (fig 4).
9) Turn the unit off by moving the mode selector to the
the power cord from the wall outlet.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Caution!
Before each cleaning and before removing accessories always disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet!
Prior to handling make sure the unit has cooled down!
The surface of the unit may only be cleaned using a wet cloth. Do not use any detergents or hard objects as they may
damage the unit's surface!
Never clean the unit under running water, do not rinse it, and do not dip it in water!
Do not wash accessories in a dishwasher!
