4) Put the pot on the heating plate.
5) Switch on the appliance. The power indicator light is illuminated.
6) After the full amount of water drips, the heating plate will keep the pot content hot and ready for use.
7) After use, switch off the unit, and unplug it from the mains.
Note: If you want to add some more coffee during the dripping, switch off the unit first, add coffee, close the turning
filter holder and then switch the unit back on.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

WARNING!
Before cleaning the unit, always disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet!
Prior to handling, make sure the unit has cooled down!
Discard the used paper filter.
Wash the replaceable parts in tepid water with detergent and rinse in clean water.
The surface of the unit may only be cleaned using a wet cloth. Do not use any detergents or hard objects as they may
damage the unit's surface!
Never clean the unit under running water, do not rinse it, and do not submerge it in water!
REMOVAL OF BOILER SCALE
Regular removal of the boiler scale prolongs the unit's service life, and ensures good quality of the coffee.
Remove the boiler scale about once every 1-3 months depending on the water hardness and frequency of operation.
1) Pour 300 ml of scale remover or 300 ml of white vinegar into the water tank.
2) Do not insert the filter into the unit!
3) Let the unit drip about half of the solution, then switch it off, and let the solution react for one hour.
4) Switch the unit on, and finish the dripping.
5) Repeat the procedure if necessary.
6) Rinse the water tank, and drip the maximum amount of clean water twice to remove the remaining solution with
pieces of scale from the unit.
