NOTE
Prior to the first use of a new product wipe the outside surface of the unit with a wet cloth and wash all removable
components in warm water for hygienic reasons. These steps should be followed by turning on the unit without coffee
(see the Operating Instructions section below) to clean the internal components of the product.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
A) Preparing coffee
Note: Both classic milled coffee and coffee capsules (7 g) may be used for
preparing coffee.
1) Open the water tank lid, grasp the water tank handle, and remove it by pulling
upwards (fig 1).
2) Fill the water tank up to the MAX level.
3) Reinsert the water tank carefully. Make sure it goes all the way down.
4) Turn on the unit by moving the mode selector to the position
The blue indicator light (Power) is illuminated.
5) Depending on the required amount of coffee to be prepared, select a filter for
one or two cups of coffee and insert it into the filter holder. Use the measuring
scoop to put the necessary amount of coffee into the filter and use the other side
of the scoop to tamp the coffee in the filter. Select one of the filters depending
on the type of coffee and insert it into the filter holder. Insert coffee pods or use a
measuring scoop to put coffee needed for preparing 1 or 2 cups of coffee and use
the other side of the scoop to tamp coffee in the filter. Caution! Do not overfill the
filter with an excessive amount of coffee (fig 2).
