6.5 Barbecue function

BBQ is the function used at the flexzone mode which will allow the pan surface temperature
stay at a reasonable level.
Using the barbecue function
Make sure the cooktop is at the flexzone mode.
1. Select one heating zone for which you wish to use the barbecue function, touch the flexzo-
ne button und hold it for three seconds. Then the power level display shows and you can
start to use the barbecue function.
2. If you want to cancel the barbecue function, just select the zone for which you want to
cancel the barbecue function, then touch the flexzone control, the zone will return to power
level '0', you can reset the power now.

7. Using the timer

You can use the timer in different ways:
• You can set it to turn one or more cooking zones off after the set
time is up.
• You can set the timer up to 99 minutes.
7.1 Setting the timer to turn one or more cooking
zones off
If the timer is set on one zone:
1. Touch the heating zone selection control that you want to set
the timer for and set the desired power level.
